| Airport to Kyoto JR station |
- From Kansai International Airport (KIX): Take JR super express train "Haruka" or an airport limougine
bus to Kyoto JR station (~1.5 hours, ~3,000 JPY).
- From Osaka International Airport (ITM: mainly domestic): Take an airport
limousine bus to Kyoto JR station (~1 hour, ~1,000 JPY).

| Kyoto JR station to Kyoto University |
- Take a Kyoto City Bus (green bus) No.17 and get off at the "Kyoudai,
Nougakubu Mae 京大農学部前" stop (~30-40 min, 230 JPY) (Do NOT take "Kyoto
Bus" (orange bus) No.17, which goes off in another direction. It would
be safer to ask the driver if the bus goes to "Kyoudai Nougakubumae
京大農学部前").
- Alternatively, you can take a Kyoto City Bus No.206 (There are two routes
of the 206. Take the Higashiyama-Dori route, not the Kitaoji-Dori route.),
get off at the bus stop "Hyakuman-ben 百万遍" (~40-60 min, 230 JPY), and walk to the bus stop "Kyoudai, Nougakubu Mae",
which is due east uphill on Imadegawa-Dori (~5 min walk).
- You may also take a taxi from JR Kyoto station to "Kyoudai, Nougakubu
Mae" (~20-30 min. ~3,000 JPY).

| Finding my office in Kyoto University |
- Enter the north campus of Kyoto University (NOT the central campus) via
the north gate near the "Kyoudai, Nougakubu Mae" bus stop, and
head for the building #21 in North Campus (= Faculty of Science Bldg #5
= Physics Dept).
- My office is #434 on the 4-th floor.
